SOME OF OUR CLIENTS AND WORK
KAPITI COAST AIRPORT
Kapiti Coast Airport - Paraparaumu
At this Certificated Airport with scheduled Air Transport (RPT), a situation arose where Management cover was required between the outgoing Airport Manager leaving and the incoming Airport Manger starting.
We were bought on in time to receive a solid 'handover' from the outgoing manager. From there we covered the day to day airport management duties for 2 months using a combination of remote services and regular time spent onsite.
During this time we were able to deliver on our promise to manage airport users expectations, while maintaining these important relationships. Time was also devoted to carrying on with important background work around the Airport OLS.
Finally, we were able to handover to the incoming manager, making the important introductions, and we remain available to the airport for any future requirements.

Principal Advisor - Simon Lockie
A background in Airport Management with hands-on real world experience has resulted in many lessons learned and instilled a passion for helping other airports meet their potential through pragmatic solutions. My work with West Auckland Airport led to co-founding and developing Aimm, a true ‘Next Generation’ airport management software suite offering airport movement monitoring, statistical analysis and compliance, leveraging the power of ‘the Cloud’ and the latest technologies for audio and ADS-B aircraft tracking. Drawing on my experiences, I use the insights and knowledge I have gained to consult for other small-medium sized airports. My objectives as a consultant have focused on helping achieve growth, compliance and sustainability targets for my clients. I’ve also been privileged to be involved as a speaker at the Australian Airports Association conferences, discussing such topics as growing general aviation, understanding airport statistics, improving cost efficiency and working towards cost neutrality.
Outside of airport management, one of my hobbies is flying. I'm a pilot and I have a flight instructors rating. I owned and operated a flying school providing both Certified and Microlight Flight Training.
